Epoxy flooring and epoxy floor coatings are becoming an increasingly popular option for residential garages. The epoxy used in garage flooring is made up of two compounds that, when combined, forms a strong, scratch-resistant layer that adheres strongly to the concrete underneath. Many homeowners choose to add color and flakes to the epoxy to make the garage floor a more intentional design decision.

What results is a very smooth surface.
